ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – Pastor F. Paul F. Rack will preach on John’s reiteration that “love must be more than talk but embodied in concrete action” during Sunday’s worship service at the Gazebo in the municipal yacht harbor.

The service will be conducted by Rack and the members of the First Presbyterian Church starting at 11 a.m. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in Fellowship Hall at the 126-year old church at Third and East Highland Aves.
Elder Ray Carroll will act as liturgist.
All area residents are invited to join with church members and friends at the harbor.
This will be the church’s second of four outdoor services scheduled for the fourth Sunday of each summer month. Other summer services at the Gazebo will be held on Aug. 28 and Sept. 28.
The title of Rack’s sermon is “Love In Action.”
“Keeping Christ’s commandments is to abide in him,” Rack said. “We lay down our lives for each other even as he did for us.”
The David Nunez-directed adult choir will perform.
The annual church picnic will be held in the harbor following the Aug. 28 service at the Gazebo.
Area residents are also invited to attend weekly Bible Study at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesdays at Sissy’s Restaurant in the harbor.
A special joint service with the Hope Presbyterian Church of Tinton Falls will held at Wolcott Park in Eatontown, at 10 a.m., Sunday, July 31, followed by a joint picnic.
Reverend Rack is pastor of both the Tinton Falls and the Atlantic Highlands Presbyterian churches.
