HOLMDEL, NJ – At the Regular Meeting of the Township Committee held on May 3, 2016 the Township Committee accepted the resignation of Joseph Ponisi and appointed Michael Nikolis as Holmdel Township Committeeman to fill Mr. Ponisi’s unexpired term.

Holmdel operates under the township form of municipal government. The Township Committee, which is the governing body, consists of 5 members elected at large for 3-year, overlapping terms. At the annual reorganization meeting, the Township Committee selects one of its own to serve as Mayor.

Mr. Nikolis will complete the term of office in 2016.
