medicine disposalMIDDLETOWN, NJ – On Saturday, April 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the Middletown Police Department will collect expired, unused and unwanted prescription medication from residents as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Take Back Initiative.

Pills can be brought to Middletown Police Headquarters at 1 Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ, 07748. Please note the DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous; no questions asked.

The Middletown Township Health Department will accept home-generated syringes and needles used in the administration of injectable medications from township residents. Please call 732-615-2095 for more information.
