LONG BRANCH, NJ—Long Branch Concordance announces the appointment of Joseph Garipoli, CFP as Interim President of Board of Trustees. Mr. Garipoli is semi-retired with over 45 years of financial industry experience including investment research and management, comprehensive financial planning and budgeting, and financial development and stewardship programs and practices. Currently, he is engaged in foreign resort property development. Mr. Garipoli is a graduate of New York University and a long-time resident of Long Branch, New Jersey.
Mr. Garipoli says, “I am excited to return to the Board of Trustees of the Long Branch Concordance as its’ Interim President. I have previously served as a Board Member and Officer and have known the agency pretty much from its’ infancy. I look forward to leading the Board and Agency as we continue to expand our ability to meet the expectations of the State of New Jersey, our primary funder and the serious and growing needs of our clients’ for family sustainability training and life skills development opportunities.”
Also named on the Board of Trustees is Nicholas DiFranco. Mr. DiFranco is an Associate Director with Ernst & Young LLP, with 20 years of experience working in government-regulated industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University. Nick’s volunteer leadership began with his Eagle Scout work, and includes planning annual community involvement projects through his firm’s “EY Connect” program. Nick first got involved with the Long Branch Concordance Family Success Center in 2012, assisting with the annual Multi-cultural Thanksgiving Feast and volunteering at the Community Garden. Nick lives in Red Bank with his wife Liz, a clinical social worker at Monmouth Medical Center, and their daughter. This is Mr. DiFranco’s first board position. Nick says, “Long Branch Concordance has been a part of my family’s life for four years, and I’ve seen the good work they do in the community. I’m happy to play a part in helping this vital organization grow and thrive in Long Branch.”
Members of the Board of Trustees consist of experienced leaders in their fields who volunteer their time and expertise for our grant funded 501c(3) non profit. Providing financial, legal, fundraising,
planning and development and overall guidance ensures effectiveness of our efforts in achieving the agency’s mission. Also serving on the LBC Board of Trustees are Juliet Gosset, Vice President, Ellen Falvo, Secretary, Don Campbell, Esq., Treasurer, Mark Gallup, Rita Torres, LCSW, Jessica Bragen, and Mychael Mills.
