nmha river rats canoeFAIR HAVEN, NJ – Navesink Maritime Heritage Association is pleased to announce that its RIVER RANGERS canoeing program for CHILDREN AGE 10-14 is OPEN and taking REGISTRATIONS for its 2016 summer season.

RIVER RANGERS explore our local rivers in colorful wooden canoes for five days. These young River Rangers learn boating and teamwork skills, gain new friends, and obtain an understanding of the local maritime environment and wildlife. They will enjoy paddling, swimming, and learning something of the on-water and under-water life while having fun.

Each weekly program runs from Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 1:30PM.

The program will run for five weeks: July 11-15, July 18-22, August 1-5, August  8-12, and August 15-19.
