ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – At approximately 10:30am on Sunday, March 13, 2016 the Atlantic Highlands fire department was dispatch to 17 Ave D for a smoke condition.
Arriving units encountered a smoke condition inside a marine repair shop. A small fire was quickly extinguished and building damage was contained the area of the fire. No injuries were reported at this time.
Fire investigation was conducted by Atlantic Highlands fire Marshal’s office, Monmouth County fire Marshal’s office and Atlantic Highlands police department.

Fire suppression units on scene were from Atlantic Highlands fire department, Highlands fire department and Community fire company, Brevent Park and Bedford Engine fire company from Middletown Township.
