-Painting Spring Birds Art Workshop with Miss Laurie Friday: March 18th at 3:30pm. Learn how to sketch and paint beautiful birds using pencils, acrylic paints, and a lot of inspiration. You will go home with your own style of art ready to be framed. Art with Miss Laurie from The Middletown Arts Center. For grades 5-12, registration required.

-NJ Makers Day : Saturday, March 19th from 11am-3pm. A statewide single-day event. Discover the values associated with making, tinkering & STEM based learning…Science experiments, wood working, sewing, ro-botics, Master Gardeners, art, Legos and more! All are welcome.

-Tutoring at the Library Saturdays 9-11am and Math Tutoring Wednesdays from 3:30-5pm: Bring your homework and get free tutoring! We have honors high school students ready to help you with your school work. Sat-urday tutoring is for grades K-8, drop in. Math Tutoring is for grades K-12, by appointment (excludes Pre-Calculus and above).

-The Stock Market Game: Thursdays in April at 4pm. Get $100,000 of fake money to invest in stocks. Learn about the stock market and compete against each other to make the most money! For tweens and teens ages 9-12.

-From Garbage to Garden: How to Compost: Friday, April 15th at 3:30pm. Learn how to create a compost bin at home with the Master Gardeners. Celebrate Earth Day by recycling in your very own backyard! For teens and tweens in grades 5-12.

-Free New SAT Practice Test: Saturday, April 9th at 9:30am. Take a full length SAT practice exam (new version) with C2 Education. Bring a sci-entific calculator and number two pencils. Sign up using our online cal-endar or call the library at (732) 671-3700 ext. 340.

-Poetry Workshops with National Student Poet Eileen: Mondays in April at 3:30pm. Learn to write spoken word and slam poetry with Eileen Huang. There will also be a Poetry Slam on Monday, April 18th at 7pm. All teens welcome.

-TableTop Gaming Group: 1st Monday of the month at 7pm. Play board and card games with us! We will play a new game each month. Games played include Magic, King of Tokyo, Forbidden Island, and more! Feel free to bring your favorite. For teens and young adults.
