the radio posterATLANTIC CITY, NJ  – The Garden State Film Festival announced today that the film The Radio, directed by ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS resident, Michael Boylan, will screen at the 2016 Garden State Film Festival located in Atlantic City. 

The Radio follows a timid boy named Martin, who receives love advice from his recently deceased uncle through a vintage transistor radio. As the story progresses Martin gains confidence from his loving uncle trancending even death.

“We are excited to be able to present The Radio as a part of our 14th Annual Film Festival in Atlantic City, and shine a spot light on the extraordinary talent from our state,” says Margaret Fontana, the festival’s Executive Director.

The film will screen on 4/2/2016 at 2:45-5:00 PM in Claridge-Celebrity Theater during the Garden State Film Festival which runs from March 31-April 3, 2016.  Individual screening tickets are $12 and weekend passes are $45 available at www.gsff.org and at festival box offices.
