ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — Pastor Paul F. Rack will preach Sunday on the joy of resurrection at our First Presbyterian Church. All members and friends of the 126-year-old church are invited to attend.

The pastor’s sermon, entitled “Plain Speaking,” is based on John 16:25-33, will be presented during the 11 a.m. worship service.

“The disciples finally show signs of having a clue of what Jesus is up to,” according to Rack. “He assures them of the Father’s love, but still knows that they will scatter in fear upon his death, the next day.

“They will still be subject to the hostility and indifference, and ignorance, of the world.  But they are to hold fast to their trust in him because he has conquered the world.

“Meanwhile, we find our peace in him.”
