Read Across America Day: A Celebration of the Wonderful World of Dr. Seuss – Wed., 3/2 @ 4pm 

Let’s celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday! Activities will include balloon animals, story circles with therapy dogs, make your own Seuss buttons, a live DJ, and refreshments. Event sponsored by the Friends of the Middletown Library and the Middletown Lions.

Maker’s Day – Sat., 3/19 11am-3pm
A statewide single-day event that celebrates, promotes, & introduces the MAKER CULTURE to all. Discover the values associated with making, tinkering & STEM based learning. NJ Makers Day is a flexible, fun and educational experience for all! Visit mtpl.org for details
NJ State Youth Orchestra – Sun., 3/20 @ 2pm
This family event by the NJ State Youth Orchestra performance will include their chamber group and youth orchestra. All are welcome.

Pirate Bob and His Buried Treasure Puppet Show – Thurs., 3/31 @ 2pm (For ages 4-9)
Enjoy interactive puppet fun and the silly mystery of “Pirate Bob and His Buried Treasure” Featuring Diane Koszarski, of Pink Flamingo Puppets.

Drop-in Programs
Enjoy some spontaneous fun, get help, practice a skill or make new friends in our drop-in programs throughout the month @ Middletown Township Public Library. We offer Mother Goose, Simply Story Time, Kids Playgroup, “Just Chill” for 6-8 year olds, American Sign Language instruction, Math Tutoring, LEGO’s, Scrabble & Chess for Kids, TEEN Tutoring & Reading Buddies.
