MIDDLETOWN, NJ – “Marge Levine: Celebration of a Life,” a memorial celebration of the life and work of the Atlantic Highlands artist, Marge Levine, will be held at the Middletown Art Center on Saturday, January 9, between 5 and 9 pm.  Colleagues, friends, and members of the family will speak in a room in which 60 of Marge’s extraordinary art works will be hung.

Marge Levine passed away on September 18, 2015.  She left behind a remarkable legacy of art, much of which will be on display at the Middletown Art Center for the entire month of January.  Marge was active and influential in art activities in the area for more than a decade.  She served on the Atlantic Highlands Art Council; she taught many classes; and she played a leading role in the Pastel Salon.  The public are invited both to the memorial celebration and to visit the Art Center at any time during January to view the abundant and beautiful work she left behind.
