RUMSON, NJ – Write-in candidate John M. Caruso was the top vote-getter with 71 votes in a runoff election for a seat on the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional Board of Education held Monday, according to unofficial results on the County Clerk’s website.

Valerie Ferrante (12 votes) and Jada L. Kavanagh (42 votes), who finished in a voting tie on November 3 were also on the ballot along with write-in candidate, Christopher Cornette (45 votes).  An addition 9 votes were cast for other write in candidates.

Voter turnout was 3.4 percent for the runoff.
