FREEHOLD, NJ – On Friday, December 11, 2015 at 7:30 PM, the Arcadian Chorale led by Music Director Marina Alexander will present “Navidad Nuestra.”  The highlight of this special concert is a folk drama of the Nativity based on the music of South America, sung in Spanish.  The Chorale will also perform a variety of holiday favorites, and invite the audience to join in a carol sing-along.  The event is sponsored by the Freehold Borough Arts Council, and will be held at the St. Rose of RC Lima Church, 16 McLean St., Freehold NJ.

On Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 4:00 PM, the Arcadian Chorale will present “Navidad Nuestra” at Holy Spirit RC Church, 705 Second Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ.  The Matawan-Aberdeen Regional H.S. Chorus led by Music Director André Baldasserini will sing some special holiday selections, and join with the Arcadian Chorale in the grand finale, “Hallelujah” Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

A member organization of the Freehold Borough Arts Council and the Monmouth County Arts Council, the Arcadian Chorale has presented its exciting classical music performances at sites in the greater Monmouth area through 23 seasons, under the inspiring direction of its Founder and Conductor, Marina Alexander.  The ensemble is regularly invited to perform throughout New York and New Jersey, including several appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the NJPAC.
