detour aheadMIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown has issued the following Traffic Alerts:

Traffic Alert: Middletown-Lincroft Rd Overnight Closures Start Tues, Oct 6th
Middletown-Lincroft Road between Sunnyside Road and Four Winds Drive will be closed Tuesday night (Oct. 6) and Wednesday night (Oct. 7) from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to allow for improvements a Garden State Parkway overpass.

The road will open on Thursday, October 8th at 5:00 a.m. There will be no vehicular or pedestrian traffic allowed during the construction periods. The road will returned to a secure and safe condition at 5:00 am each morning. The closure is required to permit the Garden State Parkway to make necessary repairs to overpass at Mile Marker 112. Follow posted detours. Seek alternate routes. Please contact Middletown Traffic Safety at 732-615-2045 for more information.

Traffic Alert: W. Front St Overnight Paving Extended to Wednesday Night
Due to inclement weather last week, overnight paving of West Front Street from Hubbard Avenue to Half Mile Road will continue for two more nights. The road will be closed Tuesday night (Oct. 6) and Wednesday night (Oct. 7) from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The road will open on Thursday, October 8th at 5:00 a.m. NJ Natural Gas is milling and paving the road. It’s is the final phase of the improvements to the NJ Natural Gas infrastructure on West Front Street. The road will closed to vehicular traffic during the construction periods.
