RED BANK, NJ – The following notice is from the Borough of Red Bank:

Hazardous Weather Discussion

Although Hurricane Joaquin is no longer threatening our area, we continue to have Coastal Flood Warnings effective until midnight Sunday resulting from persistent northeast winds from the front stalled offshore. Wind advisories are posted for the coast until 6 PM tonight. Rain may continue throughout the day, tapering off significantly by Sunday.

Impacts to New Jersey

Minor to moderate coastal flooding is possible with tidal cycles, particularly with the afternoon high tides Saturday and Sunday. Winds along the coast may reach 25 to 35 mph with gusts possible up to 50 mph. Coastal, back bay and tidal river locations should remain vigilant for flooding throughout the next two days.
