MIDDLETOWN, NJ – More than 50 commemorative street signs that honors Middletown’s fallen veterans continue to be added to streets township-wide. The Veterans Affairs Committee holds a dedication ceremony at every location. Check www.middletownnj.org for schedule.
The Committee is seeking family and friends of the following veterans who were killed in action during World War II: George Beaman, Marvin Hart, Walter Chance, James Overton, Vernon Papa, Charles Debele, Michael Bonifacio, Francis Neville, Henry Applegate, George C. Henry, Francis Mason Hayes and Joseph Carmello Jr.; during Korea: Edward Feakes; and during Vietnam: Thomas Birch, Robert Rocky and Alfred Bauer.
