The Atlantic Highlands Republican Party and Mayoral Candidate Jack Archibald with Council Candidates France Karras and Jim Krauss have announced their first open forum for the fall campaign. The first of these open forums is scheduled for 7:30 to 9 pm on Wednesday September 30 at the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club and the public is invited to attend.

“One of the promises that we have made is to actively interact with our constituents and listen to their concerns and ideas in order to help make Atlantic Highlands an even better place to live. We are keeping with that commitment by ensuring that we are using all forms of communication including; face to face meetings, USPS mail, e-mail and social media, not just for the fall election but moving forward “ said Councilman Archibald. “This forum will give the public and us an opportunity to interact and share ideas about the future of Atlantic Highlands.”

“The informal session is designed to hear our residents’ concerns and get the public involved in our political process” said France Karras. “While we have been active on social media with a Twitter account and Facebook page, we can do more to draw our residents into the process”

“Our goal is to enhance communication with our residents” said Jim Krauss. “ This is a new avenue to bring ideas forward and we are excited to meet with the public in an informal setting. Our team is committed to trying new approaches and this is just the first step in that direction.”
