ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The First Presbyterian Church will conduct its 11 a.m. Sunday worship service at the Gazebo in the municipal yacht harbor.
Following the service, the church will hold its annual registration for the the upcoming start of Sunday School, which will begin at 11 a.m., Sunday, Oct 4 at the church at Third and East Highland Ave.
All area residents are invited to attend the worship at the harbor and are invited to register their school-aged children for the Sunday School program. Registration may also be accomplished by calling the church at 732 291-9265.
Child care for younger children will provided again this year.
During this Sunday’s service at the harbor, the Rev. Paul F. Rack, the pastor, will present a message entitled “From Death to Life,” based on John 11:38-577:21, during which he describes when Jesus raises Lazarus from death and sets him free.

The pastor will also administer Holy Communion during the service.
Sunday worship services will return to the church on Oct. 4.
In marking the church’s 125-year anniversary, it is dedicating itself to the support of the Atlantic Highlands food pantry. Members and friends are urged to donate canned goods and 125 coins onregular basis.
The food pantry is operated by the Association of Area Community Churches (AACC). First Presbyterian Church donors are asked to drop off canned goods and other non-perishable items in the entrance Narthex of the church, located at Third and E. Highland Aves.
