Exhibition of Art by Miguel Figueras

Opening Reception August 7

Atlantic Highlands, NJ – On August 7, the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council’s Arts Corner presents an exhibition of art by local artist Miguel Figueras, with an opening reception on Friday, August 7 from 6-8pm at 135 First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands.  Exhibition is free and runs from August 7 to September 1.

About the Artist

Miguel Figueras is a painter and designer. Born in Cuba, he studied in the San Alejandro Fine Arts Academy in Havana from 1950 to 1956. Courses of study include painting and drawing at Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. Mr. Figueras has also traveled extensively in Europe and South America. He was a Teacher of Fine Arts, Drawing and Design at The Camila Gineres High School in Havana from 1959 to 1965.
