Atlantic Highlands, NJ – The Atlantic Highlands Arts Council, Second Story Art Gallery, and AJ Dillon Gallery of Fine Art are accepting submissions for an upcoming juried art show entitled REVOLUTION.

The jury is looking for submissions from NJ-based artists that interpret the notion of “revolution” in new, inventive and unexpected ways. Send us something that’s totally different and unexpected, or a twist on an old idea. We welcome transformative, creative submissions in all media. Video and installations are welcome.

Applications will be accepted through August 7th. Exhibition runs September 5th to the 27th, with an opening reception on Saturday, September 12th from 4-6pm in all three gallery spaces.

This little powerhouse invented some of the most interruptive devices that changed society forever – the first steam locomotive, solid body electric guitar, submarine, light bulb, saltwater taffy, phonograph, ferry service, transistor, condensed soup, Band-Aids, life-saving drugs and more.
