ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The First Presbyterian Church will celebrate Father’s Day and the first day of Summer at 11 a.m. Sunday in the air-conditioned Fellowship Hall in the rear of the church.
The Rev. Paul F. Rack, the pastor, will present a message entitled “No One Ever Spoke Like This,” based on John 7:37-53. He will also administer Holy Communion.
“Jesus says that living water will flow out of the believer’s heart,” according to Rack. “We will explore what this means.
“Trusting in Jesus gives life not just to the person, but through the person to the whole world.”
The David Nunez-directed adult choir will perform during the service.

The Atlantic Highlands church is also continuing its shorter, informal weekend service entitled a “Gathering in God’s Love” at 7 p.m. on Sunday evenings.
Area residents are also invited to attend the weekly Bible Study, called “Bible by the Bay,” which is held at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays at Sissy’s Restaurant in the municipal yacht harbor.
In marking its 125-year anniversary, the First Presbyterian Church is dedicating itself to the support of the Atlantic Highlands food pantry. Members and friends are urged to donate canned goods and 125 coins onregular basis.The emphasis for donations for this month is “June Lunches.”
The food pantry is operated by the Association of Area Community Churches (AACC). First Presbyterian Church donors are asked to drop off canned goods and other non-perishable items in the entrance Narthex of the Atlantic Highlans church, located at Third and E. Highland Aves.
