Atlantic Highlands, NJ – This coming July 18th marks the seventh edition of Atlantic Highland’s popular FilmOneFest. Held each year in the town’s marina park, the short film festival showcases entries from around the world and across the country.
If you’ve ever harbored a fantasy of becoming the next Steven Spielberg, you have until May 30th to shoot your film and submit it to festival organizers. Entry forms can be found at: FilmOneFest.org. Details can be found online, but the only major requirement for entry is to keep submissions under 2 minutes in length.
Food and artist vendors — along with a new music festival — will kick-off the night at 5pm. Additionally, the new “FilmYoungFest” (featuring the work of student filmmakers) will unspool from 7:00-7:30pm.
Entry to the FilmOneFest is free.
