More Than Sad: Preventing Teen Suicide: Monday, June 1st at 7pm : Patricia and Kim from Barnabas Health will be conducting this free suicide prevention awareness program for youth-serving individuals and parents of teens. It will provide education about factors that put youth at risk for suicide, in particular depression and other disorders.


Teen Writing Group: Wednesdays at 3:30pm: Come explore your creativity and improve your writing skills.

Teen and Tween Knitting Club: Thursday, June 4th at 4pm: Bring your knitting, crochet, or loom and create with us! We will show you how to knit, crochet, or loom if you don’t know how.

Next Chapter Book Club: Fridays at 3:30pm:  A book club for young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Teen Manga Club: Friday, June 5th and 19th at 3:30pm: Watch anime and discuss manga with us.

Tutoring and Reading Buddies: Saturdays from 9-11am: High School honor students will be providing tutoring for kids in grades K-8. Drop in and bring your work with you.

Teen Art Club: Monday, June 8th and June 22nd at 4pm: Bring a sketch pad and pencils with you and draw with us.

Finals Study Session: Thursday, June 11th from 2:45-4:45pm: Come study for your finals at the library! Come alone or bring a group, stake out your space, and study study study.

Build a Hovercraft for Tweens: Monday, June 15th at 4pm: Build a hovercraft out of recyclable materials and race them!

Teen Advisory Board: Tuesday, June 16th at 3:30pm: Join our board. Get community service hours, leadership hours, and help the library!

Tween Tech Time: Wednesday, June 17th at 4pm: Monthly program for tweens. We introduce something new each month!

Teen Yoga Class: Fridays starting June 19th (2pm on June 19th, 1pm from June 26th-August 28th). Take a free Yoga Class with Teen Instructors Katie and Patricia. Bring a yoga mat, water, and wear comfy clothes.

American Red Cross Club: Saturday, June 20th at 1pm: This club meets to discuss future projects and events, disaster   training, and other Red Cross related activities.  Participants receive community service hours.

Teen Acoustic Night: Monday, June 22nd at 7pm: Come see the musical, theatrical, and comedic talents of local Middletown Teens. If you would like to perform, contact Stephanie at [email protected]

4-H Science, Engineering, and Technology Club: Wednesday, June 24th at 5:30 pm:  Monthly workshops on robotics, programming, health, community, leadership, public speaking and organizational components.
