FARMINGDALE, NJ – Local musicians will have a chance to network and jam with each other at an all-day musical benefit hosted by Musicians on a Mission.
The 4th Annual “MOAM-A-Palooza” will feature song circles, an open mic, and several educational workshops that will be open to musicians of all ages and skillsets. A $10 donation at the door will go directly to benefit The Collier of Keyport, a non-profit that offers young woman transitioning from homelessness or the foster care system a program to develop life skills to live healthy and productive lives.
“The MOAM-A-Palooza Benefit is always a fun day, filled with the music of our very talented local artists”, said Cathy Noblick, co-founder of Musicians on a Mission. “It provides a great opportunity for musicians and non-musicians alike to learn new techniques, network with other musicians, and simply to play music for a worthy cause like The Collier House.”
In addition to the $10 donation, visitors to MOAM-A-Palooza are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for The Joshua House in Farmingdale. MOAM-A-Palooza is set to take place from 3pm – 9pm at the Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church at 42 Main Street in Farmingdale, NJ. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.
MOAM-A-Palooza keeps in Musicians on a Mission’s directive of using the power of music to inspire giving and raising awareness of local charitable organizations through musical themed events.
