Simply Storytime in the Garden Mon, May 11th @ 10:30am (All Ages) Join us as we celebrate Children’s Book Week and enjoy all things SPRING with a Simply Storytime in the Children’s Outdoor Reading Garden!

Fine Motor Fun Day Tues, May 12th @ 10:30am or 5:30pm (Ages 2-6)We will have several fine motor skills play activities set up in our Quiet Reading Area.

So You Want to be a Chef  Tues, May 12th @ 4pm (Ages 9-12)Try your hand at cooking with Miss Ellie. Learn something new and enjoy eating what you make!

Read to a Dog Tues, May 12th @ 7pm (Grades K & Up) Improveyour child’s literacy skills by having them read to a furry friend! Children will read to a dog for five minutes.

Crafternoon – Shoebox Carwash Wed, May 13th @ 4pm (Ages 4 & Up) Transform a shoebox into a miniature toy carwash!

Painting Workshop Fri, May 15th @ 4pm (Ages 5 – 8) Paint a colorful fish with Miss Laurie from the Middletown Arts Center. She will be using mixed media, oil pastels and watercolor.

Museum Passes At Middletown Public Library

Check out a museum pass just like you would a book! We have passes for various area museums and gardens, providing opportunities for learning, leisure, cultural enrichment and fun!

DROP IN EVENTS all month long

Enjoy some spontaneous fun, get help, practice a skill or make new friends in our drop-in programs throughout the month @ Middletown Township Public Library.  We offer Mother Goose, Simply Story Time, Kids Playgroup, School Age Story Time, American Sign Language instruction, Math Tutoring, LEGO’s, Scrabble & Chess for Kids, TEEN Tutoring & Reading Buddies.   There’s always an art project to create or a puzzle to be solved in the Discovery Zone.  Visit mtpl.org for a detailed calendar of events.
