michael boylan radioATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – An Atlantic Highlands filmmaker will preview his latest film for the press at the Atlantic Highlands Cinemas on Friday, May 8, 2015.  A limited number of free tickets are available to the public.

Michael Boylan’s “The Radio” will be shown at Atlantic Cinemas, First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands at 9:30 pm on May 8th.

Michael Boylan is a filmmaker from Atlantic Highlands.  His previous films, “The Baseball Card” and “Brotherly Love” have won awards including the jury award at Filmone Festival and The Garden State International film festival.

Michael also produces local commercials and web promos and documentaries. Some of these include commercials for Manasquan Savings Bank, The Two River Theater as well as the series Through the Porthole made for the off shoot of the Tri-City news The Asbury Anchor.

michael boylan radio posterThe Radio is a 32-minute film about a boy who gets love advice from his recently deceased uncle through a vintage transistor radio.

Inspired by the early films of Steven Spielberg and the classic tv show The Twilight Zone. Michael worked closely with cinematographer Michael Altino to obtain the look and feel of these classic films and television show.

Written and directed by Michael Boylan, cinematography by Michael Altino, and musical score by Jon Altino.
