May 6 at the Middletown Arts Center

MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Business is blooming – and booming – in Middletown, N.J.! All Middletown-based and area businesses are cordially invited for a FREE evening of business networking at the elegant Middletown Arts Center on the evening of Wednesday, May 6 from 6-8:30 p.m. MAC is  located on Church Street in Middletown, N.J. 07748, next to the Middletown Train Station. The ‘Business Is Blooming’ B2B & Paint The Town Pink Celebration 2015 includes a delicious dinner & dessert buffet donated by local restaurants and retailers.  Popular eateries such as Fratelli’s, Toscanella Village Café, Taliercio’s Ultimate Gourmet, Rigoletto Trattoria, Outback Steakhouse and others are participating along with Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe, Cupcake Magician, J & M Bakery and Duck Donuts. Additional donors include The Write Angles Public Relations & Event Planning, CMDS, Gateway Press, Flower Power Florist and My Fairy Tale Dream. The public is invited, and members of the community are encouraged to attend.

The evening also serves as the official celebration and launch party for Paint The Town Pink 2015, as Middletown will become ‘Pink Town’ during the month of May. The event is an excellent way to meet and greet new people and to make quality business connections while viewing the spring-themed art exhibit ‘THINK PINK.’ The exhibit is being created specifically for this event to honor Paint The Town Pink, a women’s wellness initiative created by Meridian Health which emphasizes the need for annual mammograms and early detection in the fight against breast cancer.

Any artists who would like to submit original paintings that prominently feature the color pink should contact Maggie O’Brien at the Middletown Arts Center at (732) 706-4100.

Information packets, incentives and ‘pink kits’ will be available at the event for businesses and individuals who would like to ‘go pink’ for the month of May, host a ‘pink’ event or enter the decorating contest. Information and event reservations are available by contacting Lori Anne Oliwa, event chairperson, at (732) 337-8625 or by emailing [email protected]. Businesses can also visit the official website for Paint The Town Pink and can sign up to participate and receive ‘pink kits’ at www.PaintTheTownPink.com
