ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – Sue Tidswell has been named as Campaign Chairman today, it was announced by the Atlantic Highlands Republican Party.

Tidswell’s appointment is effective immediately. In her new position, Tidswell will direct candidate Jack Archibald’s campaign for Mayor of the Borough of Atlantic Highlands and for Council candidates France Karras and Jim Krauss.

“The Atlantic Highlands GOP is excited to have Sue Tidswell join as our Campaign Chairman,” said Archibald. “Sue is an accomplished businesswoman and has worked tirelessly to get Republicans elected in past elections. She is a proven winner in the business world and will bring her unique skill set to our campaign.”

These three people have local government experience, strong financial experience, and fresh new eyes, willing to “earn” the votes of the town.”

Tidswell said the candidates would spend the coming months sharing their vision of the future with all residents of Atlantic Highlands. The immediate focus, she added, would be in alerting Republican and Independent Voters that there will be a Republican primary on June 2, 2015.

“Republicans have a solid record in Atlantic Highlands and I will do everything that I can to lead us to success in the upcoming elections” said Tidswell.

“Sue Tidswell’s hire signals another promise kept in our effort to reach out to new voters,” said Archibald.  “She represents a new phase in transforming the Republican Party and that we have a great future.”
