Please Urge your State Senator to Vote NO on Robert Barr

As early as this Thursday, March 5, the New Jersey Senate seeks to vote in Pinelands Commissioner Nominee, Robert Barr, to replace sitting Commissioner Robert Jackson.

Jackson is a veteran commissioner with impeccable credentials, who supports environmental protection in the Pinelands, a critical land and water source for the State of New Jersey.

Jackson voted against building a gas pipeline through the heart of the Pinelands. His courage and integrity demonstrate his environmental commitment to the Pinelands and to the State of New Jersey.

Governor Christie and Senator Van Drew are determined to replace Jackson with their “yes” man, Robert Barr.

This action undermines the integrity of the Commission by threatening every vote of conscience with replacement, and sets a dangerous precedent for good government everywhere.
