Upcoming events @ Middletown Library for the week beginning Sunday, February 1st– Saturday February 7th

Passport to Reading begins Mon, Feb 2nd.  Pick up a passport and list of activities at the Children’s Desk. Each activity you complete earns one stamp in your passport. Six stamps earn you a ticket for admittance to our “Passport to Reading Finale” which will take place on Sunday, March 8th from 2-3:30 pm in our community room.

Elmo’s Birthday Party Tues,Feb.,3rd  @ 10am for ages 2-6. Elmo is turning 3 and a half once again! The library is throwing just the kind of party Elmo likes: one with stories, songs, & plenty of fun with letters & numbers. There will be refreshments as well. Allergy Alert: Alphabet Cookies & Sesame Street juice boxes.

Bucket of Love  Wed., Feb 4th @ 4pm for ages K& up. Craft homemade valentines for your friends & family and carry them home in a “bucket of love” to use for giving or receiving Valentines.

M3 Maker Session Thurs, Feb 5th @ 3:45pm for ages 6 & up. Come take part in this session that encourages you to explore the emerging maker culture as well participate in science, technology,engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities. Activities will include a different science project in addition to other hands-on activities. Students from High Tech and M.A.S.T. will lead the activities, incorporating STEM.
