mcps artworkLINCROFT, NJ —  The Monmouth County Park System is pleased to announce its first ever Spring Arts Festival. Held at the Thompson Park Creative Arts Center, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, this juried arts festival runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3. The event is open to artists from all mediums.  Those interested in entering are invited to submit images for consideration into the show. The cost to enter is $15 per person.  Entries may be submitted online or by mail along with a CD of your work, entry form and fee.  Rules and entry form are available at www.monmouthcountyparks.com. The judges for this year’s event are Joyce Urbanski of Holmdel and Robert & Elisabeth McKay of McKay Imaging Photography Studio & Gallery in Red Bank. Entry deadline is February 16.

The Creative Arts Center hosts a variety of fine arts and craft classes throughout the year including ceramics, pottery, jewelry and painting.
