MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown Township is adding heavy plastic to list of items that can be brought to the Recycling Center at Kanes Lane. Heavy plastic includes children’s outdoor play equipment, garbage cans, five-gallon buckets, and milk crates.

Please note PVC pipe and acrylic carpet protectors are not heavy plastics and should be disposed of with regular garbage at this time.

By recycling as much as possible, less waste is sent to the landfill which saves money on disposal fees. In the case of heavy plastic, the township will save $108 per ton. Visit the Recycling section of www.middletownnj.org or call 732-615-2008 for more information.
