ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The First Presbyterian Church will conduct its annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion service at 8 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 24
The adult choir, directed by David Nunez, will perform at the Christmas Eve service, singing “Gloria” and “On Christmas.”
The church will also conduct two weekend services, first its recently initiated informal service at 7 p.m. Saturday, a 30-minute evening service intended to offer area residents an alternate time to worship together, and it regular worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday, which will conducted by Elder Barbara Stone and will feature the singing of the carols of the holiday season.
On Sunday, Jan. 11, the church will conduct a “Great Blessing of the Waters” prayer service at 12:30 p.m. in the municipal yacht harbor. It will be preceded by the regular 11 a.m. service in the church.
The 125-year-old church is located at Third and E. Highlands Aves. with extra parking at a municipal lot next to the Christian Education Building on East Highland avenue.
