Tips and Techniques for Liquitex and Winsor & Newton Products to be introduced by Artist Marta Kepka

ASBURY PARK, NJ –  Supported by leading art material brands Winsor & Newton and Liquitex, The Collective Art Tank today announced it will welcome professional artist Marta Kepka to host two technique-based art material demonstrations on Saturday, November 22.  Both two-hour classes, “Professional Water Colour Demo” will kick-off at 10:00 a.m. followed by “Liquitex with Professional Spray Paint and Paint Markers” at 1:00 p.m.  Artists of every ability level are welcome to attend free of charge; complimentary samples of Winsor & Newton and Liquitex art materials will be distributed to attendees.

Highlighting the ease-of-use of Winsor & Newton and Liquitex’s product line, Kepka will use the November-22 demonstrations to introduce attendees to the brands and offer how-to tips and tried-and-true techniques for incorporating the materials into one’s artwork.  In the first demo, Kepka will discuss Winsor & Newton’s 96-colour watercolour line, present its new watercolour markers and sticks, and demonstrate why the brand has continued to be synonymous with exceptional watercolour for more than a century.  Permanence, color-bias and color-mixing will be topics of discussion.

During “Liquitex with Professional Spray Paint and Markers,” Kepka will offer a brief introduction to the Liquitex product line, review the company’s commitment to innovation and its diverse product range, and discuss the contributing factors that have established it as the world’s leading acrylics supplier today.  Attendees also will be introduced to Liquitex’s new line of Professional Spray Paint and Professional Paint Markers, an innovative new product for the professional artist.  Kepka will leave attendees with new ideas and endless possibilities for how to use Liquitex acrylics in the studio.

“Liquitex and Winsor & Newton are brands that are committed not only to creating innovative and quality art materials, but to furthering the accessibility of arts education for artists across the globe. The November-22 demos at The Collective Art Tank exemplify the brands’ goal to connect with the local arts community through learning opportunities,” commented Jimmy Leslie, resident artist of Liquitex, Winsor & Newton and Conté à Paris, co-director of The Collective Art Tank and director of The Fine Art Collective.
