Middletown Library invites families to a very special puppet show presented by Paper Moon Puppet Theater!   Cinderella, based on the original tale written by Charles Perrault.  An interactive pre-show with the audience & puppets & a behind the scenes look afterward round out this family event.  No registration required- first come/first served event for the first 100 people.

MATHSTARTS-Aesop’s Opposites  Monday, Nov 17th 10am (ages 2-6) 

Did you know that Aesop’s Fables were some of George Washington’s favorite stories when he was a little boy? In honor of time travel month, we’ll be using some of Aesop’s characters (such as the *fast* hare & the *slow* tortoise) along with games & hands-on activities to sharpen our understanding of opposites!.

Kids Playgroup– Tuesday, Nov 18th @10:30am (no registration req’d)     PLAY IS A CHILD’S WORK! 

The library offers you the opportunity to participate in this all ages playgroup.

SIMPLY Storytime– Tues, Nov 18th @6:30pm & Fri, Nov 21st @3pm (All Ages)   The return of an old favorite!  

As the name suggests, we’ll gather in the Children’s Program Room for some storytime fun!
So YOU Want to be a Chef?-Wednesday, Nov 19th 2:30pm**  Tweens(ages 9-12) 

So you want to be a chef with Miss Ellie just for TWEENS ages 9-12. We’ll be making an autumn-themed food item.  Space is limited/pre-registration required.

Chasing DEGAS-People on the Move  Thursday, Nov 20th 3pm**  Tweens&Kids grades K&Up 

Introducing the ARTS to children/tweens in grades K&Up in a relaxed & fun atmosphere.  Each month we discover a different master artist/composer, explore their work & experiment with a hands-on activity!   DRESS FOR MESS-Our creativity will be let loose!

Drop-in programs all month long @ Middletown Library  November 1st-30th

Enjoy some spontaneous fun, get help, practice a skill or make new friends in our drop-in programs throughout the month of November @ Middletown Township Public Library.  We offer American Sign Language instruction, Math Tutoring, LEGO’s, Scrabble & Chess for Kids, TEEN Tutoring & Reading Buddies.  There’s always an art project to create or a puzzle to be solved in the Discovery Zone.   Visit mtpl.org for a detailed calendar of events.
