police cruisersATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – Chief Jerry Vasto of the Atlantic Highalnds Police Department reports numerous acts of vandalism to vehicles during the early morning hours of November 2nd, 2014.  Vehicles parked close to the roadway in the area of East Highland Avenue between Grand Avenue and Ocean Boulevard had one or more of their tires slashed with a sharp object.  

The Atlantic Highlands Police Department is currently investigating these vandalisms and is aware that there are other jurisdictions within close proximity that were also targeted.

Chief Jerry Vasto requests that residents keep extra vigilance at your home and neighborhood by reporting any suspicious persons or activity.  Anyone that may have information regarding the vandalisms or any video surveillance between the late evening hours of November 1st and sunrise November 2nd, please contact the Atlantic Highlands Police Department at 732-291-1212.  All calls will remain confidential.
