Middletown Township Public Library

mt libraryMIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown Township Public Library invites readers and pre-readers ages 0-18 years to take the READ20 pledge and join our READ20 Reading Rewards program in November!

Studies show that reading 20 minutes or more each night with your child improves listening skills, academic performance and vocabulary.   It’s the most important 20 minutes of the day.  Our goal is to create a community of readers by encouraging everyone to read with a child for 20 minutes or more each day.

READ20 Reading Rewards is open to all readers and pre-readers ages 0-18 years.   No registration is required; pick up a calendar/reading log at the Children’s Services Desk or download one from the KIDSZONE page @mtpl.org beginning October 25th.    Read 20 minutes or more each day in November in addition to school work and keep track on your log.   Have your grown up sign your reading log at the end of the month and present it to the Children’s Services Desk to receive your ’reading rewards’.
