Friends of the Library Membership Month: The Library is devoting the month of October to celebrating the Friends of the Red Bank Public Library and encouraging the Red Bank community to support this dynamic group. The Friends of the Library, established in 2009, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization that has raised well over $50,000 for the Library to date through its popular annual Used Book Sale, the Friends Used Book Nook located near the Circulation Desk, the annual Town Wide Yard Sale, and memberships and donations. These funds go toward the support of library programs, the purchase of library materials, and other needs. October is the month to join the Friends or renew your annual membership at $15 for individuals, $25 for families, $50 for businesses, or $100 and up for Patrons. This is also a good time to consider becoming a Friends volunteer.
