ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – The Rev. Paul F. Rack, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will conduct a blessing of the animals from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. All area residents are invited to bring their pets to the outdoor event, which will be held rain or shine.
The pastor will continue his series of sermons looking at St. Paul’s letter to the Galatians during the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service. He will also administer Holy Communion.
Rack’s sermon, entitled “No Compromises,” will be based on the Book of Galatians 2:1-21 and will focus on the apostle Paul confronting St. Peter over the place of Jewish law in Christian life.
