Atlantic Highlands, NJ – Farmers’ Market is Drawing to a Close! The popular Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce Farmers’ Market that opened on June 6th and was voted 2nd best Market in Monmouth County will be ending on October 10th.  It will be your last chance to stock up on all the great items the market has to offer.

The market opens on Fridays starting at 12:00pm and ends at 6:00pm, rain or shine (unless it is very windy or there is lightening). It is downtown, across from Borough Hall on First Avenue. There is a FREE municipal parking lot nearby

A mix of produce, fruits, plants and herbs are available from Farmer Al, Beckage Farms and Martz Farms.  To add to the variety of fresh produce is Pickle Licious, offering wonderful condiments. Holly Jolly Jams from Fair Haven is giving free tastings of their tasty jams and jellies in an amazing array of flavors…including Jalapeño! Smiling Earth Elixirs is offering a great variety of teas as well as other interesting products. From the Garden is back with their local honey and honey products that are becoming very well known in the area.  Big Spoon, Little Spoon is featuring great natural soaps and other natural products, including an all natural bug repellent without DEET to ward off those pesky bees.  Word has it that it works great.  Breadsmith is offering fresh bread and sweets that has people lining up.  Paulo’s Kitchen has ready made dinners, including crab cakes and great eggplant rolletini.   Krakus Deli has a wonderful line of Polish foods, including kielbasa and pirogies.  While you are at the Market, stop at Fair Mountain Coffee, an Atlantic Highland’s business that sells fresh roasted, organic, fair trade coffee.  Enjoy their iced or hot coffee while you shop. Stop at the booth next to FairMountain and check out what is going on in the area at the Chamber of Commerce table.
