Atlantic Highlands, NJ – On September 19, after the 7:15pm screening of The Hundred-Foot Journey  at Atlantic Cinemas, 82 First Ave, Atlantic Highlands, meet local Atlantic Highlands resident Gedney Webb; the music supervisor and music editor of the film.  Gedney is also a judge for FilmOneFest. This is Gedney’s 5th film with Director Lasse Hallstrom and Oscar Winning Editor, Andrew Mondshein.  This is a rare opportunity for the community to get an insider’s perspective on what it is like working on a film. The movie has been in the box office’s top 10 for six straight weeks.  The producers are Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey. The film is rated PG.

Gedney Webb comes from the music side of the film business where he’s been a music editor for over 20 years.  He’s worked with some of Hollywood’s greatest talent including Ron Howard, David Chase, Robert De Niro, Wes Anderson, and Ang Lee.   Most notably, Gedney received a Golden Reel for his work on the Academy Award winning film “Chicago”.  His next project is the film “One Chance”, directed by David Frankel (Devil Wears Prada, Hope Springs, and Marley & Me)) which opens October 10th.
