RED BANK, NJ – The Chorus of the Atlantic / Red Bank Area Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is an all-male a cappella singing organization that performs at several civic and social venues in Monmouth County throughout the year.
The distinctive barbershop style of four-part harmony singing is seeing a resurgence in North America. The Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) has 23,000 members – the largest male singing organization in the world – and the largest portion of their membership growth is coming from young men. Youth in Harmony (YouTube) programs for men and women have reached high school and collegiate singers for several years with training and performance opportunities.
The local chapter, Chorus of the Atlantic, under the direction of Craig Page, is hosting free singing lessons for men on Tuesdays at the Red Bank Middle School, Harding Road, Red Bank.
The chapter meets Tuesdays from 7:30-10 p.m.
