San Gennaro Festival (Sunday, September 7; 2 pm)
During the 1920’s, Neopolitan families who immigrated to New York City organized a festival to celebrate San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples. Here at MTPL, we are going to celebrate San Gennaro with a presentation on Neapolitan culture by Italian-born and Middletown raised Mary Jane Dempsey. Neapolitan refreshments will be served.
