ATLANTIC  HIGHLANDS, NJ —The Rev. Paul F. Rack will preach on “The Beginning of the End” during the 11 a.m. Sunday service at the First Presbyterian Church.

The pastor’s sermon refers to the Biblical story which records that “just before his arrest, Jesus predicts the destruction of Jerusalem and his own return at the end.” Now the question is “how do we live in the meantime?”

The pastor will also administer Holy Communion during the service while David Nunez will provide the music.

Summer services at the 124-year-old church at Third and E. Highland Avenues are being held in the church’s Fellowship Hall in the rear of the sanctuary as part of the summer-long casual program which includes bagels and coffee for attendees.

Child care and activities for all children are provided during all services held at the church. Sunday School will resume in the fall and all area children are welcome.
