ATLANTIC  HIGHLANDS —The Rev. Paul F. Rack will preach on “Death and Taxes” during the 11 a.m. Sunday service at the First Presbyterian Church.

The pastor’s message is based on Scripture found in Luke 20:20-47.

According to Rack, “Rather than selling ourselves to Caesar’s regime of money and power, we should dedicate our lives to the realization of God’s Kingdom of equality and justice.”

The pastor will also administer Holy Communion during the service while David Nunez will provide the music.

Summer services at the 124-year-old church at Third and E. Highland Avenues are being held most Sundays in the church’s Fellowship Hall in the rear of the sanctuary as part of the summer-long casual program which includes bagels and coffee for attendees.

The Atlantic Highlands church will hold its 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17 service at the Gazebo at the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Yacht Harbor, with a picnic to follow. All area residents are welcome to attend.

Child care and activities for all children are provided during all services held at the church. Sunday School will resume in the fall and all area children are welcome.
