Madison, NJ — Opera at Florham will conclude its 2013-2014 season with “Arias for the Summer,” on June 15, 2014 at 3 p.m., featuring a variety of famous opera arias and Broadway music.

The two-hour event will take place at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s College at Florham, in Lenfell Hall. Located inside Hennessy Hall, Lenfell Hall was the drawing room of the Twombly family when they lived in the 100-room mansion.

Funding has been made possible in part by grants from the Morris Arts Council through the New Jersey State Council of the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.

The musicale will feature a team of powerful and seasoned singers from the professional operatic stage. Returning after her triumphant debut in the title role of “Aida” with OAF and the NJ Festival Orchestra last fall, soprano Lisa Daltirus is one of the most distinguished artists to have partnered with OAF.

Baritone Louis Otey has performed with most of the leading opera houses in America and Europe and will sing some of the classic dramatic baritone arias from Verdi, Puccini, Wagner and more. Last year, he performed in Aida, for the Opera at Florham and New Jersey Festival Orchestra.
