ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – On Wednesday, June 18, at 7:30 pm, historian Randall Gabrielan will present “Monmouth County Past and Present.” 

Mr. Gabrielan will present a narrated photo tour showing the many changes that have occurred in Monmouth County in the 20th century. He will also share his knowledge of the County’s history from the early 20th century until today.  Illustrations are drawn from his recent book “Monmouth County, Past and Present.” The book includes comparative historic and contemporary views of more than 200 sites from the Raritan Bayshore to the Atlantic shore, and central and western Monmouth County. 

Gabrielan, a member of the Monmouth County Historical Commission, has published 40 books on New Jersey and New York history. His new book will be available at the Strauss Mansion and he will sign copies after his talk at the Strauss Mansion, 27 Prospect Circle in Atlantic Highlands. The talk is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
