International Mud Day-Mon. June 30th  10am-12pm  International Mud Day is a celebration of the joys of childhood and a recognizing that children around the world have many of the same needs. It started in 2011 as a partnership between orphanages in Nepal and schools in Australia—the Australians donated new clothing, towels, and soap to the children in Nepal. On the date that the new clothing was distributed, children in both countries had a Dress for Mess celebration, enjoying art, science, and games involving mud, sand, and more. At our celebration, we’ll have soil, water, play dough, and more available for kids (and brave grown-ups) to play with—and partnering with Project Paul to collect soap, toothpaste, and other toiletries for distribution to families and individuals in need in our area.
