MIDDLETOWN, NJ – On Saturday, May 10, from 11:00AM-2:00PM, the Middletown United Methodist Church will host its third community event “The LadyBug Festival and Carnival” for families with young children.

The event celebrates the arrival of spring, the beauty of the earth, and the LadyBug – that plays a small but important role in sustaining a clean green eco-friendly environment for us to enjoy. The lady bug provides a natural pesticide for plants to  thrive. For being a good steward of God’s overall plan we will honor theLady Bug. “Even though they look red, they are really green”.

Families with young children are stongly encouraged to attend a fun filled afternoon, that will feature the lady bug through games and crafts. Each family will recieve a bag of live lady bugs to take home to their garden. A free sit-down lunch of hot dogs and chips will also be provided. A plant sale will also be held at that time.

We look forward to seeing many children at this event.
