ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Paul F. Rack will lead the annual community Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday at the Gazebo in the municipal yacht harbor. At 11 a.m., the First Presbyterian Church pastor will conduct the Easter “Day of Resurrection” celebration in the church at Third and E. Highland Aves.
All area residents are invited to attend both services.
The pastor’s sermon at the 11 a.m. worship service is entitled “The Ball Is in Our Court,” using the New Testament text from Mark 16:1-8, the theme of which is “The women told nobody about the resurrection; who are we going to tell?”
The adult choir, directed by David Nunez, will also perform.
The pastor has also announced that the church’s weekly Bible Study at 7 p.m. Wednesday has resumed and that all area residents are invited to attend. The choir, which practices on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., welcomes any new members.
